Happy Weekend friends! This is the week that Nat and Joe discovered that they were the only people in the office who could remember the launch of Hob Nobs, circa 1985, and the mania around the subsequent launch of Chocolate Hob Nobs circa 1987. Which got us thinking about our favourite food launches - here are some of the ones that we found most exciting from our childhoods -

  • Monster Munch (1978)
  • Pot Noodle (1977)
  • Lion Bar (1978)
  • Hob Nobs (1985) Chocolate (1987)

What are your favourite food launches?!

This week we also saw the première in the FW offices of Laura's surreal home movie docudrama filmed while holidaying in Dordogne....  Lydia you are a true friend.

Rob has been working at the O'Reilly Velocity Conference in Amsterdam all week. We hear that he smoked it, which is great news - we're glad it's gone so well.

We worked with Doddle this week on a conference they were holding. We are doing lots of work with our friends at Doddle, and we have to say that this is a company who are taking customer service to the next level. Right at the core of what they do is customer service, which pretty much all of you will know is the last thing you expect from a company that handles parcels - traditionally in this market customer service is universally poor. We challenge you to go into your local store this Christmas, to ask them how they can help you send, receive and return parcels and not to be impressed with how friendly, helpful and efficient they are.

Rob took this photo of the moon. Ahh, we're sure as he took it he was thinking of his betrothed eating steaks back in London.

Here's our animated GIF of the week. Sadly we think this SteadyCam style beer holder is not in production yet as we'd have already purchased one to put a camera on if it was, we can all dream though....

Lastly, this is week that we found out that Laura can do a truly impressive impression of a seagull.
